The best designs fulfill a need. Damien, wireworks' range of 'living' side tables do exactly that. The top cleverly slots into the base but is also removable, becoming a useful tray. A slot in the lipped edge conveniently handles charger or lamp cables. Ideal as an occasional table next to a sofa or as a bedside table, Damien fits a niche. The slim leg profile and rigid frame construction make a surprisingly strong base. Simplicity is hard to achieve but this hits the target. The top is epoxy painted. The legs are made from sustainably harvested natural American white oak and oak veneers, selected for their warm color, beautiful grain pattern and traditional hardwood quality. All edges look crisp but are carefully hand sanded to make them soft to the touch. Finished with a matt, water-resistant lacquer. Design by Lincoln Rivers.
